Lesson Plan

Look at the timeline on the Spread the Light website for answers to these questions:

  • A revolt in the Warsaw Ghetto began in April of 1943. How long were the Jews able to keep up the resistance?
  • In August of 1943, there is a revolt at the Treblinka extermination camp and 200 Jews escape. What happens to them?
  • In October of 1943, 300 Jews and Soviet POWs escape from Sobibor. How many survive?
